This should all be covered in your manual, but I'll give you the generic version.

#1 Mic goes into preamp (on your M-box)
#2 Signal from preamp goes to analog to digital converters (all in the M-box) and into your computer
#3 Signal goes to recording software.
#4 Make sure inputs are activated in recording software.
#5 Make sure tracks are armed and you select the correct input.

Done.

Wait a minute. I think you may be asking if you can use Adobe Audition with a Mbox. I could be wrong on this one, but I'm pretty sure the answer is no. I think the Mbox requires that you use Pro Tools or Pro Tools LE.

You need to check if there is an ASIO Driver that will let your Mbox run with Adobe. I don't THINK there's one....I know it will work with Cubase/Nuendo and Logic, though. You won't be able to use the Mbox at all with Adobe without an ASIO driver

What exactly are you having trouble with? You should just be able to connect your Mbox to your computer and be good to go

What preamp do you have?

If you are asking for help, you need to be more specific than that. If you want people to take the time to help you, you need to take the time to tell us exactly what is going on.

With an M-box, it should be fairly straight forward. You should plug the mics into the mic jacks and there should be a cable (either USB, Firewire, or some weird cable that looks like a printer cable) that connects to your computer.

That should be it as far as getting sound into your computer. As far as getting it out, you simply need to take the stereo out and run it to amp that powers your studio monitors.

Hmm. That's pretty cheap for monitors. Honestly, the only studio monitors I've ever used are my Mackie HR824s so I really can't recommend anything else.

I have heard some very expensive monitors where I attended the mixing sessions, but that won't help you much.

edirol monitors for $99.00, definately won't be as good as alot of others but I would say certainly better than nothing.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_e/...eywords=edirol

Probably find a cheaper pair on Ebay perhaps?
