Is the beat pre-made as in are you - as we say in the Caribbean - "riding a riddim"? If so, then your application may be matchin the vocals' bpm to the beats' bpm.

That could be it. What sample rate are you recording at? Any chance that got changed? Brandon |

| yes the beat was made by me, but everytime i tried to mix my vocals with my beats the vocals would be much faster than the beat- i wasnt even recording, just at the initial mix, but see ive never even read an acid manual, so i never really knew how to match the bpm.. "fortyseven" has just helped me a great deal. im going to make the time to study my gear though... thanks for the input everyone.
