Question Acid 6.0 monitoring mix bleeding into new audio track.

Hello All,
I'm a newby using Acid 6.0 to record vocals over loops and instrument tracks. But for some reason, I can't keep the existing loop and instrument tracks from bleeding through to my new audio track I'm trying to record (yes, I'm using headphones.) I've used previous acid software and this never happened. I can't figure it out! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Paul

What kind of audio interface are you using?

I am plugging a microphone directly into the computer's "mic in" jack. not too sophisticated of a set up. Thanks.

Your probelms are caused by the stock soundcard. It wasn't meant to be used in the way you are using it.

I'd recommend you check out the Home Recording Soundcard Wizard in my signature.
