Default Problem with Ableton Live and EZPlayer Pro

I really hope someone could help me with this one.

When I used the EZplayer Pro as standalone with toontrack solo works perfectly. Also superior drummer.

When I tried to use both as AUs on ableton live I can get superior drummer to work perfectly. But EZplayer PRo doesnt. I can see signal on Ableton but i am not able to hear a damn thing.....

please help!!!!

Are you arming the track you're sending this signal through? The most common reason to see a signal in Live but hear no sound is that the track isn't armed. If you need to arm more than one track at once to get this all to work, you will need to make a change in the preferences to arm multiple tracks. HTH.

With instruments, unless you're recording through a mixer, you don't want to record two instruments in one track. The idea is to find the instrument or vst plugin in the browser on the left (click on the button below the arrow or the button that looks like a plug) and drag the instrument/plug-in to an open midi track -- on the right if you're in the arrangement view.

If you want the two instruments in one track later, you can route both to a third track as audio output and record the result in the third track. If you're going to record two instruments at once, go to preferences, then the record-warp-launch tab and unclick "arm" in the exclusive area.

HTH

I did a bit more research on this. First, you must be using Live v4 or above. It may not work with Live Lite. EZ Player is a vst plugin so you should drag and drop this from the plugin folder into an open midi track. You first have to select or setup a vst plugin folder in the preferences. You should be able to then drag and drop Superior drummer down on the bottom where it says "drop effects and instruments here" when the midi channel with EZ Player is highlighted. It should then work properly.

hey thanks for the help guys, i actually did a bit of research myself yesterday and found a very simple solution to my problem. Thing is, i just needed to route the ins of my superior drummer 2.0 track to the ez player track to enable the playback sound. now i'm enjoying the full features of this software while also having the ability to use my old ez drummer samples. woohoo!!!
