Jeffrey,

I'm not sure if you mean how to simply turn up the fader? If that is the case, it would be really helpful if you went through the lessons that come with live to grasp a basic understanding.

I suspect what you are asking is how to make a vocal track that is too low louder overall. If that is the case, one way is to pull a compressor into the vocal track and raise the output there. You'll find a compressor under audio effects..

I replied to your post in the ableton forum. But in any case please do follow the lessons that came with live, or read the manual that came with live, because if you can't adjust the volume of a track then you can't really do much!

you are correct I just want to raise volume of vocals. I will try to find the compressor.
I have watched a few of the video's. I have been able to create quite a few tracks of mixed instruments and have been able to record my guitar and vocals. have also learned how to change mp3 files to WAV. files, and I'm able to drag WAV. files into ableton and save them. Thanks for the tip.
