Not yet, but thinking of taking the plunge. I picked up an apc40 and have been running the live 7 le software that came with it. It is one fun little box. I'm sure you know that Ableton is offering sampler for free until Sept. if you go for live 8.
I am a long time fan and user of Live going back to Live 4. I use Live 7 Suite and have no real problems or issues with it. Reading the features in Live 8 has yet to convince me that I need the upgrade.
Any thoughts or experiences?

Logic Studio 9, Macbook Pro, Motu Ultralite etc...etc..
I used 8 for about a month and i haven't seen enough to make me want to upgrade. It seems to use more cpu than 7. I do like the drum kits and samples it comes with, but 7 is the version that suits me best.
I just started using Ableton Live 8. I've never used anything else before. So far, I'm liking it. I'm hoping to use it with my band when we play live. I'd like to use the Behringer Foot Controller for tapping in the tempo and playing keyboards and horns for certain parts of songs we play. We're a blues band and because we've limited ourselves to a harmonica player, a lead guitarist, a bass guitarist, and a drummer because of what the bar owners will pay us, I thought I'd use Ableton Live 8 to fill in those much needed horn parts and keyboards. I might even record my bass lines and play keyboards on occasion.

If you're paying, it's not worth the upgrade. The looper, vocoder, collision instrument and new warping engine are nice but not essential.
I'm using 8 and i've seen a spike in CPU usage during recording.
One new feature is the magnifier that zoom the entire UI. Again, nice but not essential.
I use Live to record and Play live. I upgraded to 8, it uses to much CPU and the new features are not a big difference for what i use so i got back to the good old trusty Live 7
I forgot one last thing:
I use EZ-Drummer and in Ableton8 you cant drag and drop like you do on the previous ones so thats another reason why i got back to 7
I use ableton 8 on my laptop still having ableton 7 on my home pc. I like ableton 8, "warping" has become much easier using this.
I have put an article about ableton 8 on my blog too. So if you wish, you can see it here: Music Recording Software and read it.
There are a few newer features. I'm not sure exactly what you use ableton for but the Limiter and the Multiband Dynamics are nice for mixing if you don't have any plugins that have those options. The new samples are cool but I don't use those that often. This is kind of a shallow response but nobody had mentioned the limiter/multidynamics. Overall I'd say no to the upgrade.
I just recently got into using Ableton Live 8. I've tried various other recording software and finally have found software that is simple to use but has loads of potential. I've also heard great think about Cockos Reaper. But, Live was just much easier to jump in and get going with no experience.
I mainly use it to mess around with on the guitar and also program my own drums to play along to.
Really enjoying a lot of the live 8 enhancements..
But having a lot of problems when using Audio Units...
I expect a crash every hour or so, sometimes I am crossing my fingers when adding a new plugin to a track
Ableton Suite 9 coming soon!!!!
