Default Sucky Drums?

Here is the REAL solution for all your drumming needs!...

I get many calls from frustrated songwriters in their own home studios who can’t get loops or programmed drums to sound right on traditional blues, rock or country music. That’s because heart and soul can’t be imported into your living tracks like so much data. Blazing cool licks and hot machine chops written and programmed with the intentions of selling drum machines are not what makes your song great. Real drums that are played by a musician and support the music in your song is what's needed. If you produce your own music in your own home studio, this is for you.

Totally agree. A Real drummer makes wonderful human mistakes that bring real life to the recording. We use the Yamaha DTExtreme IIS which requires a real drummer, and we love it.

A drummer friend of mine had a bumper sticker "Drum machines have no soul."

A good friend of mine who owns a drum shop here in San Antonio (TX) regularly contributed money to the battered womens shelter here in the city. He also had bumper stickers made that said "Beat Drums Not Women!" and his drumshop logo on it! Hilarious!
