Here's something. Let me know what you think. Be brutally honest, and I'll try to change it to what you need. I'm basically a novice at recording. I used a Gretsch 6122-1959 Nashville Classic hollowbody guitar (suprise! this ain't no metal guitar, really) , a Mesa-Boogie F-30 head with a 2x10 Trutone Custom cab loaded with Weber Silver Pups, my FX board for distortion and delay. Mic'd off-axis with a Shure SM-58. Software is Protools M-Powered 7.3, and I added a little reverb with the D-Verb plugin. Last edited by troy6120; 10-22-2009 at 03:54 AM. Reason: added the "brutally honest" part |
