Presume you meant "recording" not "recoding"? What's your setup? Where are the tracks coming from? If you have a standard setup (interface/soundcard to computer with software (like Cubase) provided with the interface you bought), you can simply record an additional track while you listen to the other track(s) and then mix them all down together. Is that what you want to do?

That's a rather long and pointless list there... If you want something handy to put vocals over tracks get yourself the tasty free version of audacity, import the tracks, create a new audio track and record vocals. However, if you want something more professional,go for reaper. I can't tell people hard enough how good reaper is for it's price. Same idea applies for reaper as it did before with audacity. Hope that helps.

nonsense
that list answered his question

audacity was on it
so were others he could consider

long?
so what??

better than a list with one item

i could have told him to just buy pro tools
but that is unlikely to be the right answer for him

with a choice
he can investigate and then decide what he really needs
