Default Drummer

I am looking to start an instrumental project in a style similar to bands like Tesseract, Meshuggah, Xerath and Textures. I can do the guitars, bass and programming but would really like to find a drummer who can play this kinda stuff. If you want to have listen to any of the bands just check them out on myspace. Let me know if you think you would be up for collaborating!

My 15 yo son is a drummer in a band that has written some original music in the style of Messhuggah. He loves to play their style and he wants all the experience he can get. He has collaborated with 3 different heavy metal bands in the past year. I think he is leaning towards being an independent drummer. He has been playing since he was 4 yo and has about 6 years of formal drum training. I will have him go onto your myspace and listen to exactly what you are looking for and get back to you.

Cheers for the replies guys. I'm currently in the middle of recording with my main band but am slowly getting together some tracks for this project, once they're sorted and I've done a rough recording of them I'll let you know!

Hey man I know this is kind of an old thread, but if you haven't found anyone yet I'm also interested. I'm in the process of getting my interface, but then I'll be good. Here is the bridge of a song I wrote and played drums for. Let me know what you think.
