Question Unfinished metal needs advice on mix

I started jamming this the other night. I'm going to re-track the main guitar and try to get a whole song going. Hopefully, I can find a singer to get their Rob Zombie on to this. Right now, I'm looking for some advice on the mix and frequencies. I'm thinking the cymbals are a little overpowering. I always tend to be heavy handed on the highs. It's driving me crazy, because it's a habit I can't seem to break. Anyways, I'd like to know if this one is bleeding to death, as well. Thanks in advance.

First thing you're going to need to work on are those stutters. I assume they AREN'T supposed to be there. Any idea whats causing em?

If you high shelved down the guitars down a db or two and got rid of those stutters I coudl really critique this. I think it would be great: The guitar tone really fits it.

Ha! I'm assuming you guys are talking about the stutter in the rhythm guitar? lol Yeah, it's just that loop of the riff. I've got some more variations of that riff that I haven't put in yet. If you're talking about the solo, that stutter is actually supposed to be there. I'm a little industrial like that.

lol, I'm gonna fix the stutter problem and re-post. I like this unfinished section of bash. Didn't know it was here, but I'll prolly always be in here because everything I do is unfinished.
