Three Ideas from last year

Here are three things I did last year.
There all short unfinished bits that I never went back and completed. Anyone think there worth pursuing? Two have some Vocals with some effect Ideas I was toying with. The last is just a basic chord progression. There all kinda raw and need lots of work. Opinions would be sweet.

I know the first song is much louder than the others. I guess I must have tweaked it more (mastering kinda).

I'm using M-audio Firewire 410 line input with the gain at about 50% and padded. Cubase SX3 ,Guitar Rig 3, Multi tracking the guitars with a Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe with stock pickups. I also record with my Fender Strat Plus deluxe that used to have Lace sensors in it but I swapped them out for Fender Fat 50's All single coils. I think on these tracks I used the LP though.

is the upgrade to gtr rig 3 worth it?

Man I really don't know. I started with GTR 3. I messed around with Amplitube some before this and never liked the way it sounded. But it was with my buddy's Protools setup. I just liked the demo stuff of GTR 3 way better than any Amplitube internet demo stuff. Sorry I can't help.

I owe you some opinions:

"That is why" - Interesting, but confusing. Starts out all techno and winds up kind of heavy metal.

"Your reputation" - I like it, but it sounds like something is missing. Maybe another guitar part with some high-pitch flourishes.

"One greed" - Sound like a couple of long intros that never make it to a verse or a chorus. I like the others better.

Cool I respect those opinions. They were just some things I was messing with last year and I thought , what better place to get real feedback from that here. Thank you for your honesty

I like them all! sounds like you've been doing this for awhile... did you play all the instruments?

I actually thought the techno/rock mix on the first one was kinda cool and unique.. toward the end it sounds like a hint of 80s rock with the synth.. mixed with more modern heavy rock.. pretty sweet

the second one was probably my favorite.. it just sounds powerful haha.. I almost wanna say you should try to make the vocals stand out just a little more, but I'm kinda on the line with it.. probably wouldn't hurt but its up to you

I liked the last one too, but again, not as much as the first two.. and maybe its just because its not as hard of rock and I just got into the vibe of two harder rock songs.. i dunno.. I heard some organ in it that I thought maybe could be turned up a little because it sounded like the guitars were drowning it out
