I feel an old-school (Moodys et al.) art rock ballad coming on. With strings. French horns. Nice slow over-compressed guitar solo. You know, that kinda deal.

You have a hell of a voice to start off! I like the feeling of this already, and yes it does have a rock ballad feel, i like how it sounds with just the acoustic guitar playing with maybe some other subtle instruments but i wouldnt over do it. maybe a nice piano to play on your melody?and definetly strings. cant wait until its finished.

Agreed, it needs some phrasing to fill my vocal holes.

Anyone here play the violin?

Feel free to rip it up. I'm yet to hear a realistic midi violin performance, I've jammed with too many violinists in the past to be fooled. I think I'm gonna finish this song tomorrow and donate it to the colab section.

I dare you to create a convincing violin.

I threw some drums on it so you can keep time.

man i needed those drums last night! i dont have the internet at my house so i just had to write down the lyrics and give it my own spin but now that i listened to yours again i see my tempo was way off.lol this is completely out of my genre but i just put drums as well because i couldnt get the tempo without the guitar damnit i was up all night!lol mind you i do hip hop but check it out anyway, and i will still try to lay some strings on it now that i here more of yours. good work ryan

p.s i love these lyrics they are not escaping my head! i cant wait to hear the finished song, also i think this was a blessing in disguise, let me know how this mix sounds because i think the vocals sound better than any other trak ive done, the only thing different i did was recorded in my room which is big and i put a compressor on as i was recording. listen to my songs in the hip hop forum and tell me if the vocals sounds better!
