Rock/Metal song

Not finished yet, All it does right now is loop at the verse so I need to come up with something to add to it. Still some polishing to do. Especially drums, the snare roll sounds like a machine gun. Let me know how it is so far.

What you have so far sounds great! structure and sound..Like the riffs and tone..
You're right, that machine gun snare roll aint happenin! ..definately can that. Maybe to much verb on it also. Everything else is top shelf! get some strong vocals and strong words and your good 2 go! Nice work!

BTW, is it the Vypyr 30 I'm hearing? might have to get one of those..

Thanks for taking a listen! I actually recorded the guitars with my friend's Line 6 Pod X3 Live. Sounds better than anything I've recorded with the Vypyr, might need to get one myself.

That thing sounds great! Not sure I play guitar good enough to warrent purchasing that thing..What program are you using for the drums? I'm still searching for one that is programable, sounds good and isn't going to drain my cpu usage.

It's called Beatcraft, made by a company called Acoustica. I've been pretty happy with it. Although it's not as flexible as the more expensive programs, it's also relatively cheap so it does what I need it to do for the most part.

I love the thick/crunch on the guitar--that riff is crazy catchy too! Great work. I'm looking for a good "beatmaker"--might wanna give that BeatCraft a try. Thanks for the great post!

I could be wrong in this, but great rock drums MUST be done by (wo)man and not machine. Maybe I just suck at building beats!

Still great--with the exception of your already noted "machinegun" roll. =D

Dude these guitar tones are amazing! Nice Work! I would take some verb off the snare, and eq it..it almost sounds too fat.. but overall sounds good man

love it but i agree about the snare and the part with the toms laid hard left and right sounded to far out i personally would bring them in a bit but that is just me

killer tones though
