itll be slathered in lead guitars.. but were in a bit of a rutt as far as the construction, and would like feedback so far.. and blockbuster ideas that we can steal and how the F to end it!!

There are some clicks in the begining like a clocking issue or something.
The guitar tone is mushy and soft it's needs to be more aggresive sounding even the tuning down dosen't make it sound heavy, it's still soft.


The clean tones need work also they are not that bright and don't cut through.
This kinda stuff use to impress me when I was a kid, but it's all been done before.
Now I like songs with vocals.Great guitar riffage though! check out the new guy axefires stuff he's a shredder too.

I would agree with the guitar being mushy, i think if this was brought out more or tuned better it will turn the entire mix around and point it in the right direction. I like this instrumental its hard core when are we going to hear lyrics?

ya, this is unmixed and many of the guitars will be likely retracked, and much more substance added..
I posted in the unfinished section hoping for feedback on the composition so far... particularly on the wierd tempo changes.. were working hard to try and glue together some pretty extreme tempo squirliness and want to know if its sounding too crazy

I'm not going to comment on the sounds or mix, as apart from being no expert on this style of music, I understand it's in a very raw form. That said, if you meant it to sound HEAVY... well... mission accomplished. I do think, despite the tempo changes & wild mood swings, as a piece of music it has a logical narrative flow about it. I can picture it behind a movie chase seen where one frantic "David" is being chased by a lumbering & seemingly undefeatable "Goliath"... I dunno if that helps, but that's what came to mind...

Dont know if yr worried about the mix at this point but the bass was a little loud for me and i love to hear the bass in rock/metal. For the ending id like to hear the part from 206 to 230 again in this song. Maybe on a fade out.
