Default progressive metal song

I have been recording for the past couple days and started making drums last night. The guitars and drums are raw right now. I would like some advice as to what some preferred settings are for compression, EQ, verb, and the like for both instruments.

Also, isnt there a way to split up EZdrummer into like 6 channels in order to control each "mic."

Oh, and I am using the newest version of Reaper. Enjoy!

For specific examples of eq comp verb etc. I would look at Brandon's Killer Home Recording series. I have no real prefered settings I take it on a case by case basis. I don't use easy drummer so I can't help you there. I like the wideness of your recording.

Cheers

Go to the synth page for EZdrummer, click on the "mixer" button, then right click on the "track 1" on the kick drum and select "multichannel" and voila! EZdrummer is now divided among the individual tracks. Hope this helps.
