Idea For a Melodic Metal Song: Needs Bashing

I'm new to recording and songwriting and this is my first attempt at a complete song. It is totally raw because I don't know anything about mixing or mastering. Any and all criticism would be appreciated. I used reaper for my DAW, EZ Drummer for Drums, and POD farm for guitar. Please Bash! I am aware that there are a few mistakes and odd transitions, but I just wanted to get feedback on what I have so far.

guitars tracks could use some stereo placement..left right etc..and obviously needs to be tighter. but the over all idea is good..You have the ezdrums sounding pretty good..

What I noticed is basically what awaken1 said. I really enjoyed the harmony choices. One thing that bugged me was the break of the guitar at 2:30 - it just didn't sound too natural, like it was just a little too awkward sounding. Overall, I liked it.
