idea for hard rock song... needs some bashing

This is just the start of a song I'm working on. I'm looking for any and all opinions on the main riff. Do you think it would make a good riff for the song or should it just be used for the intro? Also, how's the mixing?

Hey dude hows it goin? You should try giving somebody else work a listen. I noticed you have 10 posts all asking people to listen to your work but you havent takin the time to bash anybody else. Its only the right thing to do.

Its going fine. I realize, I should be bashing other people's stuff, but, I just don't feel if what I would have to say at this point would be worth them reading. But, what the heck, I'll start replying to other people's post and maybe it'll make a difference.

Of course it'll make a difference bro.Yr part of the general population arent you. People wanna hear yr opinion. Just because it doesnt mean much to you doesnt mean that its not important to somebody else.

Have some confidence dude yr stuff sounds great and if i'd want an opinion on my stuff i'd want it from somebody like you that makes good sounding music. Rock on.

I think the brass is a little loud.After crankin it a bit that is. I dont hear the bass very easily, could be my monitors though. I like the guitar riff and yes bro i can see how yr tone is darker than mine. I like that becuse it leaves more room for the hi hats,cymbals and vocals. For me to get a sound that dark id need to turn all of my treble off. I think ill give that a try.

Thanks for the reply. Ironically, my treble is all the way up on my tone . My bass is at 10:00, Mid is cranked up all the way and so is the treble.

One more thing, for the bass itself, there is no bass. I don't own a bass, so I direct in clean guitar and then pitch shift it .

The intro idea is really cool with the way you have the guitars coming in screaming, if the snare in the intro was a lowered a couple db and eq'd differen't, it would have more impact when the song kicks in..

Thanks for the reply! I'll try lowering the volume of the snare some and see how it sounds. I'll post another version with a few changes soon.
