Drum part: bash it!

I have recorded a little drum part with my acoustic drum and my mics (check my sign), and I have added some plugins plug triggered the snare and the kick. I will upload it. Please let me know what do you think (ps: the spalsh is broken), and what can I do to make it sounds better.

i think drums are always a little hard to judge alone. they may sound great by themselves, but once you starting adding in the other instruments, you'll realize what sections need to be improved.

taking a listen to this, i definitely feel that the bass drum might get buried underneath the other instruments. just my opinion, i'm not expert.

I agree with the above poster. If it is intended to stand alone then it is fine to bash it as it is. If you intend to add other instruments to it, then you probably need to listen to it in the entirety of the mix.
