acoustic demo
im working on re-doing a song i wrote for my wife nearly 6 years ago before i knew anything about recording. (our 5 year anniversary is coming up, and well, im lookin to get a little lucky )
regardless, i have some nicer toys now, and this is my first attempt at putting an acoustic in the mix.
the drums are just some crappy drum loops i have...im aware of their shortcomings...maybe some ideas of how to make them sound as good as possible?
can i have your first impressions? what SUCKS about this mix?
things i've noticed:
1) some odd timing issues at the beginning of the song where it 'kicks in'
2) some of the acoustic gets lost a bit...not sure what to do...
3) the string swells get a little crazy sometimes
rip it apart, gents...
thanks in advance!
