This is my first submission to this forum. It took awhile to decide what song to record but I finally decided on the Billy Squire Cover. After I learned the song I got ro recordin'. A lot of the vocals are getting lost. That certainly can't happen on Christmas song.

The song itself is pretty good, but that hihat is killing me. I'd want a steady 1/8 or 1/16 note hihat to make the song push or maybe just a steady 1/4 note hihat if you wanted to pull the song back a bit.

The performances aren't outstanding, but I like the vibe. With a little more work on the groove, a little more work on the performances, and a little more work on the mixing this could be a really great Christmas song!
