Default O Holy Night (Classical/Rock/Blues Flavor)

Greetings!

Here is my entry into the Christmas Song Contest. This has been a wallup of a production for me. I've been working on it for a couple weeks, and feel it's ready for this contest. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did to compose this rendition of my favorite Christmas song. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!...And please remember to vote...Thanks!

Cheers!

Holy smoke! This is pretty incredible sounding to me. You are really talented Metaltyme! Love the guitar solo(s)! The mix sounds great, and epic. Great song choice. And, nice arrangement. I'm assuming that orchestra stuff is all VSTs thrown in. What plugin did you use? Anyway, job well done! I hope you win!

Thanks a lot Andric for the kind words, and yes, I used Dimension Pro for my sampler/synth of choice for this song. I'm pretty dern pleased with the results for sure. Thank you again! Merry Christmas!

Thanks heaps rockerdude! I also greatly appreciate you voting a 5 for the tune man. I was actually unsure whether the guitar/drums thing would work. It kinda comes unexpectedly I guess...but, I went with my gut. That was my most effective attempt at "shred" if I do say so. The first solo that you hear was pre-written...the second one that comes in was improvised. Had a lot of fun on this one, and I'm honored you enjoyed it dude. Thanks a lot.

This is fantastic! I was not totally expecting those tasty drums to come in with the guitar when it did! A pleasant surprise it was. Way to go! I didn't know it go from classical music to literally thrashing away later. Nice buildup. Song gave me chills and it exhudes the CHristmas spirit! Awesome.

Thanks a lot TamTam. And yeah, I was definitely trying to make that change-up with drums and the guitars kinda a surprise for listeners who might a have a low tolerance for all clean orchestral sounds. It was intended for those that wanted a more raunchy rock/blues sound than all pristine like. Glad you liked it. Merry Christmas!
