Greetings! My first post on here. This is a track I recorded recently using Garageband. I wrote this song with a friend on a grey, wet, cold, Sunday afternoon, back in December 1985. Hope you like. Cheers. |

I like this-the melody is nice. I'd like to hear a version with a little less reverb on the vocals just to compare. Amazing you did this with GarageBand!

This one feels good. I know the direction you were going with the vocals, but if those words are important to the song (I have a feeling they are) then you've got to follow audio engineering rule #2. Audio Engineering Rule #2 If X element is musically important, it must be clear what that element is doing. So while it may not sound as "cool" to turn the effect down, if you can't understand the words, it's a good sign that you've used too much. So I'd recommend a bit more moderation in the future. If what you are doing absolutely requires heavy effects (some songs do) you have to find a way to achieve both clear lyrics and crazy effects at the same time. It's not easy! Brandon
