Hey ya'll.
I made this song and it's techno with drums. I made the techno song in a few minutes. (Not my best) What I'm focusing on is the drums. That's why they are a little louder. I want to know how they sound whether there is too much reverb or anything that sounds off. I'm just a teenager interested in drumming and recording. Sometimes the drumming a little off, but I'm just checking it out and not really laying down a track. Otherwise I would do 50+ takes, but i think 12is good for tonight

. I want to know whether the drums fit in well.
Unfortunately my older brother has all the nice recording stuff at his dorm. I only had 1 mic stand. Thank God for rubber bands. ;-)
I recorded this with 1 audix (on kick) d-6 (would sound worlds better if I had my stand which is in my brothers dorm) and 3 nady $8 (CRAP) mics. This is all going into a small six channel mixer and then... eekkk!!! into my mic input on my computer.
If I was doing this with my brother I would be using a nice audio card and his mbox (made by digidesign) or his 24 channel Allen and heath sound board. I would also be using mic stands.
I have some decent speakers some Bose. I don't like Bose though they are bad quality. They are still worlds better than computer speakers though. (sorry I'm an audiophile) They are way to bass heavy.
I used Acid 7.0 for the putting together I spent about 2hours total doing this.
sorry the drumming is pretty off at times.
Thanks for any replies or responses
and sorry I have to downgrade this to MP3.
Cheers,
matt
