That hihat is way too high in the mix and overall it could use a little fine tuning. But there's the bones of a kicking track there.

Yeah, the highhat is intrusive. Id compress it a lot and make it more wet because the song is pretty grundgy.

You are missing the point of the song. That high hat is the back bone of the piece. Are you listening on computer speakers?

I love the swishy smashy synth line a very much lot. It seems a bit lost or muddy, maybe because the high hit is over powering. I really do love the synth line!

Thanks. That is the Surprise synth from Ugo. I forget his site, but if you search "Surprise synth Ugo" that should get you there. He has some other VSTs on there.
