Put some rhythmic delay on that guitar. The changeover at 1:37 needs to be smoother - fade in the (delay-hungry) guitar and drums to make a smooth transition that the listener can expect. You've got a similar issue at about 2:14. Make your changes musical. I like the idea. The strings could use some fattening.

Yeah what seems like bit crushed drums does sound video game-ish, definitely with guitars haha. There seemed to be a mistake at 1:04 it kinda jumped. A lot of sudden unexpected changes in directions, 1:37 is the worst. They are good melodies you're introducing but you don't slowly move into them, it's too sudden and it ruins the flow. Good instruments and melodies used, it really carries out the old video game feel.

It was good! However, you really need to make your changes more, well musical. They didn't fit in and it was too sudden and unexpected, it didn't even sound like it came on the downbeat of a new bar. Well everything else other than that worked well with the song! Keep up the work!
