not sure about the melody but everything else works great.

i am no expert in electronica/techno but usually theres a recurring theme or melody to the song. theres always a hook rhythm or melody in it.

The drums are good sounding, clean and loud, like it should be in that kind of music.

The melodies are weird, but not too much. I like the one that starts at around 1:15 better than the first. I don't know if you're using an hardware synth or a VSTi, but if you're using a VSTi, I would try to quantize some of those parts, because they sometimes are a little sloppy, but most of it is pretty tight.

As for the mix and engineering, its definitely not bad, but i would work on some few things. At first the bass seemed over saturated, I mean it's sometimes nice to have a lot of gain in dance mixes, good examples are some JUSTICE or MSTRKRFT songs, but the sound you have there seems saturated in a not-nice way. There was also some parts where it seemed like you had too much going on, like from 0:15 to 0:58, I'd try to EQ these parts or change the sounds you use to have it a little cleaner.

Overall pretty cool man.

lol, thank you all for the kind words and advice, ya, i dont know if i was actually going for dance stuff with a hook and all that per say...more like...a song with a over all theme but just soloed i guess all over it haha, i didnt sync any of the stuff or quantize it because i didnt want it to sound to robotic..i wanted some dynamics and what not...anyways..but i will for sure try out what you guys had to say!

I guess you could say im more along the lines trying to see how far i can step out of the lines of whats right and wrong and still get away with a nice song haha.

But yes indeed, metal is my life force and my gateway drug that led me into music to begin with, ill never let it go lol.

I wanna start a power metal band sooo bad!!!!
