Mastering/mixing help

Hey guys,

I am finishing up a new album of mine and as usual I hit the final mix/mastering stage and get really frustrated. I dont know if my mixes are good and I am way too hard on myself or they are as bad as I think they are.

I want to go for the full dynamic/minimal compression sound. I have always loved listening to older records because the audio quality is not compressed and brickwall limited to the n-th degree.

I also want to go for that "**** and analogue" sound. I just fell like the plugins I have tried and things just dont cut it.

If anyone could just download this track and give me a few tips that would be great! I know the problems are obvious but I dont know the solutions.

you did a really good job on the compression, you got the sound of an older recording.I like it.
