I like it man, especially around the 5 min. mark because of the way the phrases are linked together ( from before and after the stop I mean), smooth transition...nice. I like the sounds and mix all the way through. Alot of this sounded like it would be good to mix in with something else. The one thing that I'm tryin' to figure out in my own endeavors is what to do with the repetitive high cymbal sound, I can't seem to eq' it to make it blend better, maybe pan around a little, fade in and out some, hmmm. Great tune bro, definately worthy of the time spent.

thanks! i've been listening to a lot of trance DJ sets lately (i.e. John Digweed, Sasha, and a little bit of Tiesto) so i made this track to be DJ-friendly with lots of space to fade into another track.

as far as the repetitive high cymbal sound, i usually pan it about 10% left or right, sometimes center. i added some delay too so it wouldn't sound so static. the only EQ i did on it was highpass filtered it around 400 hz and added about a decibel of treble to get it to shine but i think it might take that off.
