Default House/tek track

hi everyone, excuse my awful english cause im french and live in canaduh.

so i got Acid 7.0 , some plugins and started playing with the wholestuff. Im trying to get my hands on a nanopad from korg and an m-audio keyrig midi keyboard at the moment.

Anyway, as an introduction to the boards i thought id post one of my first little production.

I hope it will make you dance even if i had some troubles with mixing and the main bassline that doesnt seem to always fit with the main sample (i ripped from YouTube - Louis La Roche - Peach's video with audacity).

lemme know everything u didnt like and how u would correct it.

The mix isn't too bad.
I'm not a fan of the whole fading in and out thing.. But if that's what you were going for, you deffinately got it. Besides that, the only suggestions I would have would be to change the beats up and the bass line up.. It repeats its self a bit too much. If you could change it up a bit and not make it fade as much, I think you got yourself a good mix and good song.

def. don't make the bassline go in and out... in this genre its all about the bassline. Side chain ur bassline compressor from ur kick, so everytime the kick hits, the bassline will drop slightly. Other than that, interesting groove. Your highs may be boosted to much. Try subtracting rather than adding ... Ur on the right track buddy.
