Wow! Quite funky guitarpanning. What language is that? :P I think you should turn down the general bass-FZ, especially in the verse. The other things are cool though! I like the use of instruments and synths in general, it's like digital rock... Good job!

thanks!

its in Bahasa.. an Austronesian subset of the Polynesian language spoken in Southeast Asian countries of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, parts of Phillipines and Thailand... well it doesnt matter... music is music isnt it? rhythm is the language of the universe and melodies are the poetry of the world.

frankly speaking, i hated this mix. i have re-tracked the guitar parts for god knows how many times. and the bass!? thats another story altogether.

and it went through a few different versions. basic rock, acoustic, turned up the tempo, slowed down the tempo, mixture of synth and rock, pure synth, etc etc etc...

still not happy with it though. i will turn down the bass fz if it pleases you

i heard your remake. i can safely assume that you are pretty good with guitar solos? if so, would you like to play a short solo in a pretty rock song of mine?

That's an honor! I would love to It's gonna be my first requested mission then... apart from some gigs. So how should we do it then? I can send you a wet guitartrack and a dry one? Then you're able to get the sound i recorded with myself, and the dry for you to mix it yourself... You have to send me your track though, or else it get's difficult XD

i will send you a song. give you a chord chart, tempo and all (if you want it)

give you a certain amount of time to practice and then once you're prepared, you record it on your side.

and send a dry track and i will mix it to the best of my ability. or you could do that, we shall discuss that part further.

finalise the mix, send for mastering, print the CD/cover, sell it and make millions of dollars and live happily ever after....

hows that?

on another note, give me a day or two to finalise the track and send you via a link.

cool?

Haha, I'm not so sure how much of that was serious or not... at least I don't need any chords or anything, that's not hard to figure out if you're not jazzing it all up, that is XD I'm ready for a rock solo though. Just send me the track, and then we can discuss it further over msn or PM
