"hope" : A new fresh song for you guys to bash ! :)

Actually I'm not sure I really want you to bash it cause, this time, I'm almost pleased with it :-)

However, a part of myself is thinking "I probably like it cause I heard it 1275849 times while mixing", so a pair (ot 2) of fresh ears would be appreciated to tell me whether somethings wrong, and even better how to fix it.

The song is called hope, cause when I wrote this song, that's probably the only thing I had. Fortunately now's much better :-). It started from a raw recording of me playing the piano, improvising for a few minutes, then, 6 months latter, transcribing it in ableton live and creating an arrangement for it, then 6 months later again, trying to mix/master it, loosing a lot of hair in the process :-)

This is kind of like an electronic rock/metal song.
Pros:
- I think its mixed very well
- I like the bass sound.
- Organ style solo is good.
Cons: -
- Piano line is a bit, evanescenes.
- Although bass line is good, there is no variation.
- Drums are a bit repetative.

Overall I think this is a good song, its not really my style, i'm more into dance and its various sub-genres. However I can recognise a good song, and I think this is very good. There are some very creative aspects. I forgot to mention that I like the kinda of wierd panning synth pad thing going on.

Overall, the song gets 5 stars in my book.
Great quality and obviously, great talent.
The only thing I can say that I would do any different is change up the drums a bit. Geart work dude!

You're right about drums & bass, I'm a "pianist" so I see the drums & bass more like a support for the melody and chords than like instruments by themselves ! I'll work on this, thanks again for the feedback
