cool song. a few things that could be worked on though: the vocals sound a little thin and the kick also sounds weak. the snare also sounds too mechanical. besides that, it's a cool song especially the vocals. neat atmosphere too. |

The drums are suppose to sound mechanical.. It's suppose to have an electronic feel to it. I'll work on the kick, deffinately. Through my playback it sounded pretty strong though, enough to clip on the lows. I'll screw around with the vocals. =]

I like it, man. I agree with the kick sound. Beefier would be cool. Personally, I could go for some kind of digitized effect on the piano effect too... I'm not exactly sure what, it just sounds out of place amidst the electronic drums and digitized vocals, if you know what I mean. Nice work though!

Good song, nice piano playing and piano sound. I think more eq work may benifit it. I would boost Hi mid and hgh frequencies on the voice for lyric intelligibility and to seperate it from the piano. Kick drum increase the bottom end and maybe add reverb. Last edited by paulwalshmusic; 05-06-2009 at 08:04 PM. |

I really like this. It has a nice momentum about it and your vocal has a great - almost sampled (I know its not..) - quality on the note separation. I have to say that I like the drums the way they are and I am not too sure what more you need from them without overpowering the simple but elegant feel of the song - and detracting from the vocal / piano interplay.... One thing, for me on my system, is that the level of the vocal is quite transient - sometimes dipping out a fraction? Just my thoughts! Tony.
