Atmospheric ghostly piano with r&b-esque beat.
Almost R&B-ish-(but not, because we all prefer just electronic- though it does go well with 'r&b' sung lyrics or enrique maybe) very atmospheric and depressing. I just love the amount of reverb in this track- it all just blends. The main piano track is completely improvised (after playing with a chord sequence Em, Bb, C, F, C[inv.1]). I kept the little end bit in there too.
I'd say this would work well in a scene where someone has lost someone, like in a war where slow shots of one man left on a battlefield in the midst of his side's loss. Or a very over-exaggerated girlfriend loss :P
Alternatively, could develop into a song with words- lots of autotuned pop lyrics or maybe a rap? I decided not to include my vocals because they only add to the song atmospherically but have no lyrical sense :P- plus I hate the sound of my voice through (yes) a cheap karaoke mic that was lying around. Maybe once I have a nice condenser... =)
Bash away
EDIT: If you hear clipping, though I can't be bothered checking now I'm pretty sure it didn't clip, however it may be because it's a
free sample-based piano VSTi that is very CPU hungry and at high velocities my computer had some troubles and I heard clipping pre-fader. Baring in mind that though I have 3GHz pentium 4, I only have 512mb ram
