Dance/Rave piece

So I made this as my third trance/dance/techno attempt ever (i have listened to quite a bit though so i could hear a lot of what i wanted). it was made literally within a week of getting reason 4.0 so some of the fx are not as flashy as some such as the berklee dudes song i just listened to on here but i still like it. if youve never "raved" haha and dont why techno based songs sometimes save the "good" part til late in the song just listen to the second half ...any suggestions to improve on ? thanks!

Very Euro, I would speed it up a couple bpm's. How do you like reason 4?

Whats the bpm like 115? I would speed it up like DJ Starr Andrews wrote. maybe add some vocal samples in the background.

yeah i think youre right about speeding it up a bit. the snare need less clap character and a little more body as well as some reverb on it. i like reason so far - its the best ive found yet but then again i dont produce this type of music.. this was just for fun...im more immersed in sonar and havent bothered to learn a ton about reason

Oooo, I really love the part just before the one minute mark, the synth melody. It is really nice. I also agree about the tempo but I think it is pretty good. Nice and dynamic, which is a good quality of dance music. The only thing I felt it lacked was at the beginning, once it got into the intense part, it then backed off a little quick and went more mellow, personally, I felt like I wanted the more intense part to last a little longer. I don't know though, just my opinion. Overall I love it!

The synth melody at :52 is pretty cool.. the beat might seem a little slow..maybe some 16th note pecussion in there at a subtle level might pick it up a little bit. Also could use a little bit more high end on the up beat..(snare) etc..I also like the idea of maybe a couple background vocals. Over all sounds pretty good..
