Bash this soundtrack

I was asked to write a short piece of electronic music to go over a video that a friend of mine shot of a sunrise. Bash this soundtrack folks....and please be as honest as you can be...i can take it.

the staccato synth w/ delay would have been nice set a little further into the mix. rounded off maybe with some reverb.For relaxation purposes the listener needs something to guide them into this trance,some distant beacon pulling them away, maybe mix at different places throughout. nice work with piano

Thanks for your feedback. You made some really good points here. Perhaps i just missed some attention to detail on this one, i think i got more tied up in making it last over 5 minutes to be honest lol.

I love the piano work! I will have to agree the the staccato string part should be further back in the mix. I felt just a little distracted by it. I think it is an important part of the song but just a touch too much. Great work!

Nice piece. I think the piano could be grander and have more w a r m th and size - let it be the centerpiece of the song, and the strings should be EQ'd for more "air" and less "punch". And I agree with a previous post that another melodic (does not need to be complicated) line would compliment and enhance the piano line.
