No real intro. That makes it seem like a really busy song, which it is. Decent progression. Cool layering with the guitars there. About halfway through the song the melody is killing me. There hasn't been any changes to it other than what seems to be transposing the melody up or down. Ahh finally 2:20 you dropped the melody, now with some interesting guitar playing. Oh you reintroduced a different melody a good one too. A standard fade to finish the song. Not too bad! The only bad things I found was that melody that spanned over 2 minutes. Keep it up!

Thanks for the comment. Now that you say it, I realise that 2:20 of this melody is overkill.

get a vocalist, and lower the instrumental melody and you have a complete song. you wouldn't have to change the song at all other than lowering levels if you had a great vocal hook on the song.

first impression: WOW. sounds awesome for like 40 seconds, and then the ears beg you to listen to some classical. busy, busy, busy.

I would dry the drums up a bit especially the high hats, they are completely consumed by the layers of sweet guitar riffs.

Overkill on the mids. I think if you completely eliminated those powerful chords you are holding throughout the entire song, you would clear everything up. you would give the guitars more air, and the drums and bass would be more distinguished.

Please post a version without mid chords at all. Just those guitars, bass and drums. I wanna hear it.

I love 2:20, and especially how the riffs are like inverted towards the end

great sound
