I just picked up a Oktava MK319 which I had modified which is very nice and a AKG Perception 420 which I love.
It's funny how this mic thing works, it seems like every time I see a deal on a good mic I have to have it. When I was a kid this was the same way I felt about candy and toys. Hmmmm, am I revealing too much about myself here?

Its been years my main mic TLM103. not a single problem with it. Gr8 quality for such a gr8 price. I just ordered a pair of Mojave Audio's M200 tube condenser. i cant wait to get them, i read so many reviews (more than 50), all said its one of the best mic in history, thanks to david royer.

I agree also I am selling them on ebay BUT I WOULDN'T if I didn't truly think they are an awsome mic. I did initially have some problem with the fact they are made in china but after doing a BUNCH of research I found about 90some% or the mics etc. sold was made in china also not sound like a salesman but I try out all the osp products before I put em on ebay , an only have found a few minor things I on most of their products that need improvement , it helps us be able to afford a decent quality product affordability we all know the equipment we use cost an arm and a leg by the time we are done getting everything we need, plus guys like me make a few extra bucks selling on ebay instead of spending hours packing up our drum kit loading unloading and doing it again I love to play but at the age of 53 I've moved enough gear for 2 life times again I didn't mean to sound like a salesman I'm just trying to justify selling a product made overseas & my opinion is 100% honest about the mics or I wouldn't sell them the profit is very small anyway but thanks for listening!

Say it again in ten words. "sales man" is not allowed to be one of those words.

Talking Re: Your Favorite Vocal Mics?

I just got a new Blue Babybottle a few days ago and it is fantastic. It sounds like a $3000 U87 or similar for a lot less money. My band was just finishing up vox on our new album but now we are redoing it all with this mic instead. I've done some comparison tests against the MXL tube mic ( I forget which one) and the battlebottlen is worlds better. The vox fit a lot better into the mix and don't sit so isolated on top any longer

I've also been loving my Sennheiser e906 for my guitar amp. It can really take the harshness outbid the distortion and deliver a nice **** guitar tone. I normally pl ay through an Orange amp and the best way to describe this amp with this mic is ultra pasterized. The tone is so creamy and thick and fantastic.

Yeah, and maybe think about using punctuation. That run-on sentence left me gasping for air

If the EV RE-15's was good enough for Elvis than it is good enough for me..only thing is that his vocals will always sit good in any mix no matter what mic he used as his voice had great natural compression, tone etc.
