Hmm, doesn't appear to work. I'll throw it up on my FileFront Account.

Get these while they're still up, looks like Antress is being bought out by SSL:

I stumbled accross this FREE Auto Tune VST. It is not Anteres but hey it works and it is free. They also have other pretty cool FREE plugins.

GSnap is an auto-tune effect. It can be used subtly to correct the pitch of a vocal, or, with more extreme settings, to create a robot-voice effect.

New to the board and digital recording. When I went to download the "classic compressor" it asked me where to file it. I am currently using Magix Deluxe 12, which I'm not sure I like too much (any reviews on this software would be great!!) I stored it in the effects file, and tried to pull it up but to no avail. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or where I should store it?

Thanks
Keith

For cubase, there is a folder called "Vstplugins". I would look for something like "Plugins" or that.

There should be a plugin folder of some kind with a bunch of .dll files.

I wanted to give full credit and props to this free VST

GlaceVerb
DASAMPLE - Sounds for professionals

Glaceverb really helped me on a vocal track and to sweeten the final mix. It is extremely advanced and hard to believe it's free!

I also give props to the "classic" series mentioned above in the thread. I had only been using the reverb but all of the other stuff is quality and easy to use. I am particularly fond of the compressor. I can't say I have been overly impressed with the bundled plugins with Cubase LE. Or at least the ones that appear to be native. The third party stuff like the Voodoo line and the Camel crusher, etc, that come on the bonus disc are a little better.
