Your Favorite Free Plugins?

has anyone tried the stillwell audio plugins? you get a little nag screen when you first load it asking if you like it buy it but other than that they're fully fuctional. Windows or Mac. just google stillwell plugins, these are the best I've ever tried.

Stillwell VibeEQ, Major Tom, and The Rocket get plenty of use here.
Event Horizon occasionally on bass too.

I don't care for the Reverb.

The Schwa stuff is interesting but I never find a use for them.

I really like the Compact Distortion VST:

VST plugins [slim slow slider presents]

and have even employed it as a 'bass-inator,' setting the two 'filters' to something like 200hz high and 20hz low. It sounds better to me than any of the 'octaver' VSTs (at least for creating a 'bass guitar' sound).

For 'lead guitar,' it's got a unique voice.

My Dell says these dll files will harm my computer but I downloaded the chorus anyway and it wouldent open the file said WEB help to open sooooo what now

Are you talking about the Stillwell/Schwartz Oligarch Chorus? It should be fine.

Maybe your antivirus has a 'false positive?'

Did the new Antress plugins get any mention? Keep an eye on these:

It looks like maybe they uploaded a couple of new ones in the last day or so.

a really good freeware is downloadable on acustica audio the plug in is nebula.
there is a freeware version with preamp EQ modulation effect reverb the sound is huge
