ATTENTION GOOD INFO ABOUT WAVES, I have many of waves .All totally paid for . But waves has their site and they DO totally let you sign up and try any of their plugins for free. It is only for a while. maybe 7 days or what ever but a person can get a plug in to try and use it.

maybe it can get them thru a mix. ????

Uh, the Acoustic Legends virtual instrument package costs $300

Isn't this thread titled "Your Favorite FREE Plugins"?

(Never tried Acoustic Legends btw)

Sorry, I didn't mean to be sarcastic. I'm just frustrated I guess. I subcribed to this threads because I wanted to know about free plugins that are out there - I can't afford hundreds or thousands of dollars on plugin software.

So everytime I get an email notification that someone has posted to this thread, I log on expecting to find news or opinions about free plugins. Instead I see discussion of pirated plugins, technical how-to questions, and recommendations of expensive products.

Okay, maybe the thread has run its course. Maybe there are no more new free plugins, and the thread should be closed. Maybe I should just unsubscribe.

You're right. I think what happened is that all available (or known) free plugins have already been mentioned in this thread.

Early on in this thread I came across some very good free plugins that I still use today.

Unfortunately the thread has grown so large that it is virtually impossible to weed throught the posts and determine which of those actually have input directly related to the intent of this thread.

Okay, back to my milk and cookies now.....
