A bunch of modelled guitar amps and pedals.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned the TbT stuff! (click archive, both the "new" and "old" stuff are good. well, most of it... avoid the octaver )

There's a SX3 mono button, and the best "record stop/start" effect I've found anywhere. But most important is the compressors, they're crazy good! Especially check out the 3127!

Also check out Jeroen Breebaart's Ferox (versatile tape sim/saturator/thickener), and OmniVerb (figure it out)

I've never heard of it. I'm downloading them now.

Hey! Great thread. I logged in to post something, but got completely sidetracked by downloading all the cool plug-ins.

One question. Some of the instrument plug in have .ds extensions. I don't see these anywhere in the cubase folders. Should these just go into the VST folder with the dll's?

Interesting. I've never encountered this one. I'd try putting them in the VST folder and see what happens. I have my doubts on this one, so let me know if this works.

I just came across a free plugin set set called "Nasty". CHeck them out at: KVR: Update: "Nasty 1.2" - adding NastyCS + NastyVSD !

I haven't finished giving them a thorough testing but my first impression is positive.

I'm such a newbie that I learned about the fish filets from the thread about guitar squeaks/chirps. I did end up using de-esser to tone down finger string chirps a tiny bit more, and it worked great (once I read the manual and understood how to operate it!).
