My absolute favorite is waves Rverb. I love it to death. Haha
And another. I believe is called truespace that comes with the music production tool kit for protools is also decent. I use it sometimes

Hey dudes/chicks,
Lately I've been looking to improve my effects. I have a handful of plugins I've been using for years that don't suck, but I'd like to move a little closer to the "awesome" category.
I've never really been overly thrilled with my reverb plugins (although the Overloud Breverb may be an exception).
What are you using for reverbs?

If you have not tried 112dB Redline Reverb, you need to! The depth of adjustment is really amazing, not just the usual suspects but individual frequency control for near and far reflects and the like. It is very natural sounding. I can not imagine using anything else (other than hardware). It does not load the CPU either as it is an algorithmic process, not convolution. There are a ton of flavorable reviews online.
Hey Bro, this list is in NO particular order
1) ozone 3, good sounding verb not great on individual instruments but can absolutely sound dynamite on drums on occasion.
2) Waves IR1, this is my fav sounding waves verb
3)Waves RVerb, Great sounding verb. i use this one a lot. Id give it a 6 1/2 on a 1-10 scale.
4) the rest of the waves verbs fall here after the other 2 for me.
5) The one ive been toying with a lot lately is the impulse generator from SIR and then the Bricasti M7 impulses are freeware. Im not sure about this set up yet but i think i like it a good bit. Esp for freeware. I havent had a chance to use it a lot yet but def some neat spaces.
6) I like roomworks from stienberg. Its not bad at all. I put this verb in the same category as most of the waves stuff.
Do they make a plugin that is of wow status?? Ive yet to hear it if they do.
1) Nomad Factory's Blueverb DRV-2080. This one's my favourite bar none.
2) Nomad Factory's Liquid VerbII.
3) Lexicon Pantheon
4) Steinberg Roomworks
5) Freeverb II. Many guys have told me they hate this one, sound like shit etc but i made it work for me pretty well a few times. Plus, it's free.

I use Breverb and love it. It's not cheap but it's worth the dough.
Thanks for the recommendations, dudes. I'll try out those I hadn't heard of. In my research last night, I just found out that Lexicon has a series of native plugins that are getting rave reviews from normal guys who own the hardware. So I'm pretty excited about trying those!

I use Altiverb. Not cheap but really nice imo. These guys went all out sampling spaces and hardware. And when new samples come out you get them for free. This is the only "high end" reverb I've used, but its been real good to me so far. Best when you want a really natural or "real" verb sound.

For reverbs I use a spring reverb on my fender sidekick amp. My bathroom, a mic and speaker. You can toss almost any digital reverb onto one of those reverbs to extend it. It makes for a pretty natural and hidden sound.
I hear the eventide H3000 is pretty cool. Sorry couldn't resist.
I'll be trying some of these plugs out as well. It would be nice to have something that is a little more convenient.
I wish I could find something like the Yamaha's SPX2000 Reverb in a plugin, I don't know why I like it so much, I use Roomworks a lot, and it's a good one. I like to chain a reverb and a eq when I want more control.
I love Ambiance by Magnus
Magnus' plugins
Its the only plugin I use for when I need that 'Real' reverb sound (as opposed to ones for amps) and is great because of its mixing properties. Really easy to control how much reverb gain there is and dry > wet ratio. Also the shelf features are something I've only seen in one other plugin, which had shitty tone.
I use reapers default reverbate plugin. It's pretty customizable and has a highpass and lowpass filter so the verbs get thinner or change their sound. It's pretty cool.
