one thing i am going to be needing is mics guess i have a lot of info to write and post in order to get one of those SM57 mics in the store... oh well the EQ will hold me over for a long time!

This is cool. I would be excited about being limited to using the 57 as stupid as that may sound. In most sessions, I don't have 3 hours to dick around with sounds. I'm expecting to mic it up and go. Sometimes I feel like I have too many possibilities. It would be nice to be forced to work on mic placement and nothing else even if the one mic you are using may not be ideal for every source.
