Yeah, my dog is a cocker spaniel, and so finds a reason to bark at just about everything. I have many a good recording in which you can hear her in the background. Plus, when I hit the high notes on the harmonica or the synthesizer, she starts barking. Dogs seem to like to bark at high noises.

I have two dogs and they have yet to screw anything up, they are so peaceful when my wife is singing, they just lay down and go to sleep. Really its funny cause at first we thought they would need to be up stairs, and now they just sit there and take it all in like good pups. Now, if we bring someone else in to sing/perform, they just may not be so content.

The thing I hated the most I got rid of, and that was behringer mixer, rest of my stuff seems ok for now.

I guess the problem is the dogs are sounding distant? I would put a 57 2 or 3 feet away from the dog and blend that it so that it's bark has a little more clarity.

I'm kidding.

Recording is all about the source. I'm afraid you'd need quite a bit of sound proofing that I certainly wouldn't want to pay for this task. Or you can lock the dog in another room and be done with it. I know what I would do.
