I think you are using the same channel assignment for both instruments. Give one MIDI track a different number than the other.
I'm normally not this bad... but...
Have just built my new machine with EWQL Silver+Gypsy and Sonar 7 on.
I'm really bummed out on one thing though.
I load up one instance of Silver as a VST within Sonar I load two instruments (Piano and Cello in this case), have two separate MIDI tracks also, but I just can't seem to assign them to the separate instruments which exist in the single instance of the VST! :@ When I hit the keyboard, I just hear both
Can anyone tell me what schoolboy error I must be making? :|

Ah, I sorted this. A youtube member (CosmicD, who has a great composition on there) told me about setting up the Play instruments to different MIDI channels. I hadn't done that configuration from the Play side of things
