I have considered these over the years and never purchased one. I use a speaker stand with various different blankets draped over it right behind the mic. I vary the blankets based on how little of the room I want on tape. This has served me well for years. The vox room is not the best option in my opinion. Ie.expensive, don't sound really good usually. The auralex foam is good to.

can i ask you, why do you put the blanket behind you, not in front of you? you must be in a big room, aren't you?

I put the blanket behind the mic so that when the singer sings it reduces reflections back at the mic. Sometimes I build 3 walls around the singer. Yes I record in a big room. You can see pictures here Smith Music Studio

Cheers
