i knew that MD stereo mic that i threw away 8 years ago was good for something...

the good thing about my untreated living room was that, it had fake walls made of wood. so i think it has something to do with that or am i talking from my ass?

i put a thick carpet under the instrument, and incidentally which is where i placed my SP C1 too.

as for the SM57, i just placed it above the instrument, center right.

i shall post a few mixes of the same thing in a bit.

here they are:
first one is unmixed whatsoever.
