Default Recording acoustic bass guitar

I have a 3 piece band coming over to record tonight and the bass player has a acoustic bass guitar.
He has pickups mounted inside, but I was hoping to mic it to get some of the guitar sound in the recording.

I'm looking for tips on mic placement, techniques, etc.

I have the following mics available: rode nt2a, rode nt1a, sm57, mxl 960.

Default Re: Recording acoustic bass guitar

Cool. Just a guess from me but I'm thinking LDC with a blend of the pickup.
