Default Re-quantizing drums that we're already poorly quantized in PT

Any advice?

Surely the original track is still around somewhere. Get that out and slice and dice it. and make it work. Goofily quantized stuff invariably has time-stretching artifacts here and there and is ultimately not worth fixing. Toss out the badly quantized track if you can or possibly "misplace" it... heh, heh, heh.

Your drums programming skills are up-to-date. Sell this guy on that or re-record. Otherwise you'll have a half day into fixing a drum track that still doesn't sound that great.

It sounds like the beginning of a very difficult outing. There are likely to be many such patch jobs ahead for this project. If it was me, I'd be permanently in "Plan B" mode.

Seriously, if it's recorded to click, there are worse things than programmed drums. Bring the drummer back to your place to re-record? I so wouldn't count on the other dude who made the mess and got fired to help you out.

Why not re-record? How hard can it the music be? Post a sample. That'll tell me if it's fixable er wut. Either way, I might be able to help.
